Solomon “Sol” Lewitt è un artista legato a vari movimenti tra cui l’arte concettuale e il minimalismo, di cui è stato uno degli esponenti più autorevoli. È famoso per i suoi Wall drawings e le sue strutture, basate su semplici forme geometriche, che non di rado dialogano con l’architettura. Artista statunitense, ha vissuto a lungo a Spoleto.
Solomon “Sol” Lewitt is an artist linked to various movements including conceptual art and minimalism, of which he was one of the most authoritative exponents. He is famous for his Wall Drawings and his structures, based on simple geometrical forms, which not rarely dialogue with architecture. An American artist, he lived for a long time in Spoleto.
